BSRA - (Babydoll Sheep Registry Association) In 2022, this  "non profit organization set up to continue the breed standards and pedigrees originally set in place for preservation of the breed, all while additionally keeping the members informed, included and involved each step of the way."

BSSBA International - (Babydoll Southdown Sheep Breeders Association International) Formed in 2018, this "non-profit organization set up to continue the breed standards and pedigrees originally set in place for preservation of the breed, all while additionally keeping the members informed, included and involved each step of the way".

​

NABSSAR - (North American Babydoll Southdown Sheep Association and Registry) This non-profit registry was formed in 2002 "to fill the missing link between sole-proprietor owned associations and one encouraging member participation, giving members the opportunity to meet and exchange information for the purpose of making better breeding choices',  This is the only babydoll registry that does NOT accept spotted babydolls.

OEBSSR  - (Olde English "Babydoll" Southdown Sheep Registry) This registry was originally formed by Robert Mock in 1986.  It was subsequently sold as a for profit registry, to Byron, Sandra and Stephanie Self.
